Lubbock Christian University (LCU) Friends of the Arts will host a Red-Carpet Affair featuring the Keegan Peck Quartet on Saturday, February 3, at 6:00pm.
Guests are invited to dress for the red carpet for this special dinner and show led by LCU alumnus and popular entertainer Keegan Peck. From a red-carpet photo op to begin the evening, to a delicious meal, to being serenaded by fantastic music, the evening promises to be a night to remember. The Keegan Peck Quartet is a local Lubbock band that specializes in jazz standards. The band includes Keegan Peck on vocals, Dr. Charles Whitehead on keys, Dustin Pedigo on bass, and Brian Tate on percussion. All proceeds from the event will support LCU students through Friends of the Arts.
The LCU Friends of the Arts is an organization that promotes and funds further development of the arts at Lubbock Christian University. LCU is devoted to transforming talented students into well-trained, Christian professionals for careers in art, music and theatre. The organization raises funds to provide resources for the art division as needed for instruction through student scholarships, additional supplies and equipment, community outreach and access for student travel opportunities. Dr. Laurie Doyle, Chair of the Communication and Fine Arts Department at LCU, shared, “The FOTA organization has been of tremendous help to the arts at LCU over the past years. We are very excited about this unique event that they have planned to ultimately benefit our students.”
